Parah
Parah was founded in the 1950's by husband and wife Giovanni Piazzalunga and Edda Parcchini. They began their business adventure by making a few lingerie items and selling them at local markets. In 1953 they decided to give their lingerie a name. They wanted the brand name to reflect the first letters of their surname but the printer made a mistake and used the letter 'h' and the exotic name Parah was born.
In 1975 a turning point came in the Parah designs, when the second generation joined the business. Gregori Piazzalunga noticed a rising demand for swimwear. By making the decision to also produce swimwear, Parah became a huge success in the fashion industry. Parah became a leading brand in Italian fashion, a refined brand with garments that emphasized the woman's femininity.
