Erika Lust
Before she changed her name to "Lust", her name was Erika Hallqvist (1977), born in Stockholm. She graduated from the University of Lund six years ago as a politicologist. After graduation, she moved to Barcelona, where she currently resides and works. She privately runs a production company together with
her husband and recently pusblished the study: "Good porn, a woman's guide".
Please don't compare her work with the mainstream "other" types of porn. Erika films with a feminine, esthetical and innovative view that make her movies to be irresistible masterpieces on sex, seduction and passion. She has also been awarded the Director of Adult Movies.
The Good Girl was Erika Lust's first production. She directed it herself, wrote the scenario herself and shot the movie herself in 2004. Shortly after, she established her own production company, Lust Films.
This short film later became part of the feature-film, Five hot stories for her, a compilation of five short porn stories. They were later on rewarded with various international prizes. She won "Best scenario", in the Interational Film Festival in Barcelona (2007). She was also given the Venus-Eroticline-Award
in Berlin and the award for best film of the year on the feminist porn awards in Toronto (2008). Her second film, Barcelona Sex Project was shot in 2008 and was rewarded in the Venus Festival of Berlin and screened on the Cinekink in New York and X-Rated in Amsterdam (2009).
Life Love Lust was published in 2010. This recent film is triptych, it shows three different versions of seduction and sex. Besides all of the films named, she also produced two other short films, Handcuffs (2009), which was widely rewarded and Love me like you hate me (2010), which featured both BDSM as well as fetish.
Handcuffs was given the award for "Best experimental short film" by Cinekink, New York (2010) and "Most sexy short film" at the Feminist Porn Awards, Toronto (2010)
