FIG ME GENTLY

~ Aphrodisiac ~
The word, aphrodisiac is derived from the Greek goddess of pleasure, joy, beauty, love and procreation; Aphrodite.
I think even the word alone already heightens the senses.
So, what is an aphrodisiac?
It's basically anything, like food or drinkables that arouses sexual desire…
It can be that a certain food looks, smells or tastes a certain ravishing sexy way that provokes and evokes lust.
But it can also be sought in the nutricial values of an eatable, like zinc & magnesium for example which apparently can increase the production of sex hormones & optimize the sex drive.
There are quite a few sexy edibles that are found on the aphrodisiac most wanted list like oysters, almonds, asparagus, etc…
But also;
Figs!
