BONDAGE ART: KNOTFULL BEAUTY

Shibari or Kinbaku...
Are you familiar with these terms? Do you know what they mean?

Shibari and Kinbaku are often used as being the same thing, but there is a theory that Shibaru is the actual bondage form and Kinbaku is actually Shibari, but then with the emotional value.
It's erotically stimulating, tantric and it can also have a healing effect...
The healing part can be in being very beautifully tied up and forced to let go...to let go of control (as with most bondage forms of course).
It sounds wonderfully contradictory "letting go, by getting tied up".

Shibari or Kinbaku is a type of bondage, a Japanese knotting- art form which stems from Hojo-jutsu, the martial art of restraining captives between 1400 and 1700.
For example, they were easier to transport, and because they absolutely could not escape, a prison was unnecessary for these prisoners.
Apparently many prisoners got caught by submission to this knot-art in a trance ...

What makes Shibari or Kinbaku Bondage exactly thát?
3 things:

- It must be beautiful; beautiful knots and patterns.
- It has to be effective.
- It should have a Japanese aesthetic.

And enjoying a workshop of this intimate, creative, beautiful bondage art with your lover is of course a perfect tip for Valentine's Day...
