When not in use, store your harness in a cotton bag in a cool dark place. Keep the harness away from sunlight and heat. Bridle leather is finished with tallows, oils and waxes. Over time these oils can appear at the surface, if this happens dry the harness with a dry cloth and all will be good again. This is a sign of quality leather.
